i assume you won this pcb last night at mi-auction.com ?

Things to take away from this auction...11861, 11881, and 11811 were the 3 bidders who bid the most and won the most auctions. At another online auction site I've seen this kind of bidding activity and knew for a fact there was evidence of shill bidding. Often times it was sellers bidding up their own items to get around the 5.00 minimum. They'd bid it up to some ungodly amount, never pick it up, then you'd see them bidding on the same exact items at the next auction.

I LOL'd because everyone (except for thegleek) missed the fact this is only ONE of the two-PCB set. The board posted is the video PCB, not CPU/ROM board. Also missing the interconnect PCB's.

This is what a REAL I,robot set looks like:

So save your $800, Alan and others...and view this as a untested I, Robot video PCB.

My fault I forgot this was a two board stack. This came from alpha amusements I thought I recalled it only being a single board. I know this part of the board is good as everything marked good by them is. They were a large company with a ton of test fixtures. So looks like I'm selling just the video board haha. I've tested quite a few things I bought and they all came back good when marked that way. I'm betting I have the other board around here somewhere though. I bought near every board they had before during and after the auction. I actually didn't even want this board I bought about ten things by accident as the auctions were ending so fast.

Some of us knew, when looking at the auction, it was only 1/2 of the solution. Still worth OK $$ for what it is ...

If you look back years on biddergy, you'll see the same exact activity from the same people...some even have the same screen name right here on klov. I can think of 3 right of the top of my head

exact pcb: http://www.mi-auction.com/cgi-bin/mnlist.cgi?repomax5/8804/1

wow yes. this is good to know, this places bidder 11861 == edx2x

damn 11861/edx2x bid on a SHITTON of items! like $5,000+ worth! crazy!

so yeah edx2x won this exact i robot pcb from mi-auction for $165

and... its not even complete. so how is this being sold as WORKING???

I bid on biddergy a ton as well, I buy thousands from most arcade auctions. I have a lot of equipment so I need a lot of parts and I'm always looking for cheap games. So I bet you I'm one of the guys you're talking about. The other is probably bill we are two of the few operators so we bid at every auction even if we sometimes don't need the stuff.

I do routes so I spend my spare time fixing up games to sell and sometimes selling parts I've acquired or don't need so I would be a culprit for sure. I look at this hobby differently than you guys. :)

Also was not my intention to list this wrong. Sorry on that. Just trying to sell some stuff I bought to recoup some cash.

What is the point of posting this information?

um cuz it's public auction. and when someone who posts an item and matches
up to the bidder # it's quite easy to put things together, its not rocket science.

i can remove my post, but you quoted it and i can't remove yours.

I was asking what you were trying to accomplish by posting it, not how you got it.

I don't care that he found out my bidder info. That's ok. I'm not a shill bidder or anything I just buy a lot of things from all auctions. some things to use in my route, some to sell to customers and clients like power supplies etc, and some to resell in general. If I see something I think is a good deal I'll take a chance and try to resell it. It's hard to keep arcades open when they are your only source of income so I have to get games cheap to fix up and resell. I have to jump on good deals / auctions since buying most parts new would put me out of business lol.
