Dear All,

Time for this game to find a new home. I cannot see me completing it and it is sad to see this rare game sitting idle for so long: It deserves to be played.
Been stored in my heated gamesroom basement since around 2005

Purchased two of these in the past (one local and one from New York via EBAY, combined the Best of the Best.
Before someone asks, the other parts I sold to Dawn at APOLLO many years ago.

Cabinet:
  • Very good condition, one back corner missing. And normal wear and tear on the game overall.
  • Lower speaker grill has rust streaks, but I have a second one that is exceptional.
  • Power cord replaced.
  • I would say overall the cabinet is 8 to 8.5 in rating
  • Both side decals are in excellent shape
  • No wood rot anywhere
Control Panel
- No cracks, exceptional condition and the hall effect joystick moves freely and is in great shape
- I have a NOS decal kit that is included in sale price.

Monitor
- DISCO monitor was not with the game when purchased, I did purchase a NOS monitor and installed it,

PCBs
  • I have two complete working board sets (Alex at Electron Forge did his magic).
  • These are still in the individual returned boxes and date stamped 2013. I can open them and take pictures if requested.
  • One set (matching serial number) will go with the game, the other is negotiable for inclusion as an extra
MISSING:
  • DISCO Monitor
  • Marquee and glass bezel.. I have these and one of these days I will find them. And I will ship them for free.
SPARE parts:
- Speaker Grill, Coin door and speakers(x2) and will come with the game.

If you need more pictures, please let me know, I will PM.. Be patient please as I might be getting lots of inquiries.

Asking price: $5700(US) o.n.o

SHIPPING: at purchasers expense. Will work with the carrier of your choice to get this properly packaged and en-route to its destination. I can provide a list of carriers and local options.

Thank you, Darryl

Dear All... I just wanted to BUMP this one more time..... I am thinking on parting it out actually... But I would rather to sell the whole game as it is...
$5700.00(US) ono
You'd be better off holding on to it for a few more months. You are trying to sell when the market is soft.

Otherwise, here is the VAG Price Guide price.

You don't have it working, so you might consider the prices above and adjust your price accordingly.

The number of people who are able and willing to pay $5k+ for a game is rapidly decreasing at the moment. Things are very different than they were a few years ago.

The way to sell this game would be to bump this thread once a week, and lower the price $100-200 each week until you find out what the new market price is.

Location is probably a huge factor here also. On an Island in Canada probably yields obscene shipping prices to the CONUS.

Yeah, that will certainly play a part.

Though for a rare collector game like this, a road + ferry trip might not be out of the realm of possibility.

(It's a beautiful drive up there this time of year!)

I couldn't sell a nice fully working I robot 5 years ago before the market got soft. I was not going any lower than $4300

I'll never sell my I,Robot either. As most here know, I traded my soul to get the cabinet (though the ca$h and carry price was right).

We just finished a trip to the Maritimes and spent 5 weeks in NFLD.
It's a truly magical place. Worth visiting even if you don't come back with an arcade game. LOL
