So I bought one of the Donkey Kong 2005 boards and tried to install it in my Nintendo cabinet. Yep you guessed it the image is inverted because it is a Jamma board. What would the best way be to invert the image back?

when you say inverted, I think you mean you need the color inversion board. Not flip the screen upside down.

If you have a nintendo monitor in it, check to see if it has the inversion board on it. (top of the metal cage over the flyback). If its missing, then check to see if you have a red wire with a single pin connector on it.

If you need the video inversion board, I think I have one. Here is a pic of the inversion board.

Alright here is the really wierd thing. I am currently running a hanatrex chasis with a Jama harness. I bought it that way so no face palms please. The cabinet ran fine with Arkanoid in it.

I put this Namco Donkey Kong 2005 board in it and the entire image is upside down. Not color missmatch but entirely upside down. There is no inversion board that I see because it is not a sanyo. However unless Namco built the board this way Im confused.

I assume you checked you don't have a dip/menu option to flip the screen on the game pcb?

hantrex has a connector on the 9000 board to flip the image(maybe on the 900 boards too). the yoke wire can plug into 1 of 2 green connectors on the board. plug it into the other one flip the screen.

here is a pic of a 9000 chassis. the 2 green connectors by the big cap are for yoke flip. All else fails, you can rotate the monitor in the cab 180 degrees..
