Here's a google spreadsheet of all the games I have:

I've been thinking about listing these on craigslist, but have a hard time pulling the trigger. We pull them out every couple of years and play them for a couple of hours. I guess I'm asking if there is anything here that is particularly interesting?

atari 2600 games are highly noncollectable. nobody cares about ye olde 8bit large
pixelated games anymore. with a few exceptions, most carts can be purchased for
25-50 cents each.

with one swift and easy download, you can put the entire atari 2600 library on a
single micro-SD card, slap that into a multi-cart, plug that into the atari 2600, and
have every single game at your disposal without the insane clutter of 1000's of dirty
plastic cartridges.

good luck with whatever your decision is. thanks!

Yeah, don't listen to him on the sales amounts. There are more than a 'few' exceptions. You're not going to get rich, but you certainly can get more than a quarter for most games.

in general, if its made by Atari, its not worth much. The rare stuff is usually smaller market titles or lab label stuff. if you had swordquest waterworld, its worth something. The rest look like $1-$3 carts. So if they bring you joy, then enjoy them. You home unit might be worth more than your carts if its a heavy sixer.

Thankfully 2600 carts haven't gone the way of Pinside pricing.

There is definitely a hobby market and you'll get a few bucks to 10 bucks for a majority of them. The game shops know which ones will fetch more like 20-30 bucks online.

I have the emulation sets, even the handheld flashback. and I've even taken a couple broken atari's and turned them into dedicated mini cabs.
Nice nostalgia here and there. Asteroids holds up well after all this time.
In the general market, I think the Nintendo brand far outpaced Atari for pop excitement and deeper title selection. So 2600 kind of got stranded.

If you want to sell them on ebay, you'll have to group them in logical sets. Like Activision sets, etc.
