Newspaper articles were substantially longer than the internet articles of today. Our attention span and patience has severely reduced.

LOL right! I had trouble getting to school on time because there happened to be some games near the school (too close, as it turned out for me).

And to think just 8 months after that article came out from the same magazine, Esquire, the infamous Oct 1971 that contains the first phone phreaking article was premiered "Secrets of the Little Blue Box".
