moved my SI into my gameroom, and i've noticed that when a few games are on and i turn the SI on, it seems to take a little longer to turn on, and i've twice gotten a staticy sound like when you have a ringing/buzzing cell phone near a speaker/stereo and you get a buzzing. isn't an issue when just the SI is running. i also get a static line through the monitor when i turn another game on or off and the space invaders is on.

i'm not really too concerned but to clean those issues up, are there grounds i should add? the plug is grounded and plugged into the individual on/off rack power strip. should there be any ground straps in there? not sure if there are, i haven't been behind it lately.

Use a power strip that has EMI/RFI filtering in it...

Try to install some power line filters inside the cabs...

Measure the voltage going into the cabs... maybe you have a voltage drop because of wiring issues...

Check all outlets with the little plug-in tester to make sure they are wired correctly...

Separate the cabs a bit - sometimes the electromagnetic fields from the monitors interfere with each other.
