Interesting: two slightly different dedicated JTGKs?

I just picked up another dedicated JTGK, and noticed when putting it next to my others that it is slightly smaller. Yet all appear dedicated. Odd. I guess maybe this one is the cabaret, although it is only about 5% smaller.

Does anyone here know enough Cinematronics history to explain why they would make two so similar?

John

I think ultimately cinematronics was a band of gypsies.. seemed to me they used whatever they had on hand to make a game if necessary so it's totally unsurprising they'd mix and match cabinets like that :)

Love their games, but man the cabinet work is hoky at best from that company.

The one with the narrower marquee looks like a Naughty Boy cabinet... perhaps it was a conversion at the factory, like the Lunar Landers that were converted into Asteroids.

Kyle

The one with the larger marquee is dedicated cab..the other one appears to be naughty boy cab since that marquee fits that cab.

They made a JTGK Conversion kit with the smaller marquee to fit that cab. I think that the bezel and everything else is same size..

Here is the naomi version from Japan...
