Have had some pretty interesting paperwork just gathering some dust. I will never get to framing these, so I thought I would offer them up here.
#2 - Defenders playfield pencil sketch (copy)
This is a VERY interesting piece. Acquired from John Popadiuk, this is a copy of a pencil sketch for the machine Defenders, which was never released. This was the machine they were working on when the Star Wars Episode 1 license came in. This game was shelved and never produced. Working title was Alias DEfenders, and that is indicated on this piece. The title of the game that was to go into production was called Defenders, but again, was never made.
This is big. 24" x 48" and would look fantastic framed, thought there is some edge wrinkling from shipping. Thought this is a copy, it looks like some is actually pencil sketched, although I can not tell and don't want to mess it up.
Looks like this would have been an awesome game had it been produced. Signed in silver sharpie by John Popadiuk, but the signature is not the best.
No idea what this would be worth. Make me a serious offer and we can go from there.
Thanks for looking!
Chris
