Never knew this existed, or was even contemplated as a product... any one ever seen one before?

(note: I have no connection whatsoever to this auction, just find it interesting...)

Does anyone have a picture of the actual machine or know of one? Maybe TNT Todd has one?

I did a little more digging this evening, and this post by Scott C. regarding cabarets seems to indicate that there were some Irish cabaret cabinets possibly made:

Maybe it was something that just never took off and the project was abandoned. Stuff like this fascinates me... what a teaser it is so many years later.

I've always been lead to believe that no cabarets were made and the manuals were just accidentally printed that way. I'm probably mistaken, but I don't think there are any "normal" Red Baron manuals.

My manual looks like that and I have the regular factory Battlezone conversion. They're all like that, I think someone found a cabaret once but it was a prototype. Common printing mistake by Atari is the general consensus.
