Ive been asked to make reproduciton Williams Cocktail joystick bases. This is the metal part with the pivot. At this point, it would exclude the stick itself and leaf switches. My goal would be to include, the washer, c-clip, dust washer, pivot cylinder, roll pin and the metal base itself. Price guestimate is $35 or less. Ive been told these are used in the mini games as well as the cocktails. If you know otherwise, please post. Another member had posted 3 years ago trying to make these and its unknown if they were ever done. If the interest is there, they will be done. I'd need about 20 bases sold to make this a go.

Here's the stick I'm talking about. Pic shows whole assembly. I will not include the stick or switches.

I'd just like to mention that the cocktail sticks suffer similar wear to the upright style. They eventually get slop in the opposite travel direction as they age. If you have a game that uses them you might want to check the condition and think about getting a spare set.

Anyone recall if these were ever repro'd back in the rgvac days? I don't think so, as I'm pretty sure I remember it coming up and there was significant interest. C'mon, quite a few games are out there that need these, so stock up now. The sticks on my Joust ct are LOOSE..when these are worn on old games, they're not good joysticks anymore.

I dont recall them ever being made either. I know the upright ones were done but never saw the cocktail version.

Ok, well with either, they're sloppy as crap on a game that's been on a route. I can't stand the UR sticks without the kit Arcadeshop sells. These are a no-brainer.

This disappeared quickly but is still a possibility.....anybody else?

Price quote is $28ea, but I need to make 50 of them. Is there any more interest?

Have you thought about contacting Arcadeshop or other vendors? It might be a good product for them to stock. If you only make enough for the current demand I bet you'll have folks pop into this thread from time to time who missed out on it or didn't need them at the time.

Yeah..I'd be surprised if Steven Gregory wouldn't want some stock to sell on his site. I know I've seen this come up over the last 10 years and there would have seemed to be interest in the part. Cocktails - Joust, Defender, Stargate, probably some others?

good project! I know a whole group of people that will be interested. I'll forward to them. :)

Have you ever seen something like this, out of Australia at unknown timeframe?

"The Defender rebuild custom joy with phosphor-bronze bushes. Much more durable and reliable than the Williams version which used leaf switches rather than microswitches. "

That happens with everything Ive made. I simply can not afford to sit on alot of inventory or store it. I can see what steven says....Ioffered him other items in the past and he's usually not interested if Ive sold the initail "rush", unless its super cheap. These are not that cheap...
