I am gauging interest in the pole position instrument bezel. I was able to have one loaned to me yesterday and I am now gauging interest to see how many people may want this. If you are asking for a price, I am not sure. It wont be cheap, but it will be better than the original part and in a ton better material: acrylic capped ABS. This will have a much more evident haircell that is raised than the original parts which were more flattened.

The originals were made of a recycled grade ABS which was thin and easily broke. I can also do in Hi impact black polystyrene that has a smooth matte finish to it.

So lets see what people think before I go in the wrong direction...

I'm in (depending on the final cost). I would like to see the difference in material, only because as you stated, "more evident haircell" and I really don't know how that would effect the final products appearance.
All in all, I would take 2 if reasonable.

PP bezel

I would love to have one just like the origional with no Cig burns. The origionals were durable enough. But they made too good of ash trays it seems.

Add me to the list. Stronger material is probably better for such a large part, correct? Might also minimize chance of shipping damage and resultant hassle.

The originals are about .060 and recycled plastic. I can do them in virgin ABS, in .093 and they would be stronger and bullet proof. The part is large and will have to be outsourced for forming as my machine doesn't handle that size. 24 x 24 is my max size I can form.

I know people want these so I will do all I can to keep them reasonable. So stay tuned. I am going to call some people I know so we can see what forming costs will be. with any luck i might be able to use the machines after hours and it will be materials cost only.

Wish me luck and more to come...

I'd probably go for one as a backup in case my original got screwed up due to kids/dogs etc as long as the price wasn't too crazy.
