Interest List: Amplifone HV Heat Sink

(Copied from my thread)
This is a very generous proposal Troy, and we all thank you :) It makes sense it be yourself (heatsinks)

I think it is a good idea Troy. There is presently 26
different packages heading the US (1 package is for 2 people's boards). At AU$12.00 per package, that's US$327.6 shipping in total, using 1.05 as an exchange rate.

Even if it costs US $105.00 for shipping (To you) that is a saving of US $222.60

Divide that by 25 packages sent by you (You don't need to send to yourself), that's $8.90 per package.

If the package is less than US $8.90 ea, then the 25 recipients will save money. Is it feasible it will be less than that?

If so, I would accept your proposal

I would ship MC1's and T1's too if they are ready. Doing the shipping this way is much better, as I don't need to try to keep it under 500grams anymore, so extra items can be added at virtually no extra shipping cost

Secondly, there will be insurance etc as the (bigger) package allows that

So can we go with that everyone? Everyone agree?

Shipping should only be about $5 or so for the small flat rate box. Even if they (heat sink) dont fit in there, its light enough where using a small regular box wont be much more than that if at all..

I dont mind waiting for the other parts so it can all be shipped at once. I can have these in as little as 2 weeks.

Yes, combine shipping. I offered to do it as well but it would be better if you could take it on as I am a little time constrained.

BTW...maybe you could throw some lagniappe in the boxes as well, you know, like silk screened MIssile Command controls or something like that.

Haha lagniappe... Perhaps some laffy taffy or something...

Posted interest in dezbaz's PCB kit thread, but I am interested in one of every component produced for the new assemblies including this. Wanna build a repro 19" Amp for my Star Wars UR. :D

+1 for a heatsink.

Bill

What's that little bracket made out of? Looks like thats and easy make being so thin and a single bend.

It's Aluminum 1.57mm thick (1/16mm thick), 30mm wide, 19mm base, & 13mm high (Approx)

I am working on exact dimensions and holes sizes / positions etc:)

Get them to me and I can get that quoted.

I updated the heat sink list as well.
