I'm getting anxious to design some PCBs so I am fooling around with laying out a linear power supply for the fun of it. I know Williams games don't play nice with switchers and I know that there are some of you out there that just don't want to fix these power supplies. If I build a Linear Power supply that will drop in to the Defender, Stargate, Robotron, etc. era games, is anyone interested? I do not currently have a price set, but the more that people order the cheaper they will end up being.

I've never seen one of these burnt up like you sometimes see the Bally SS pin rectifier boards. The Williams p/s is easily repairable with a rebuild 'kit' and header pin replacement. Also, people have the option of a switcher, even with its issues. I just don't know that the demand for a replacement board would be there.
