Interest Check: Repro Midway Coin Doors?

How's about punching out the rectangular metal bits that hold the 25 cent plexi windows in place?

That will be as originally done on the doors.

No, not the door itself but the 2 metal bits behind the door that hold the windows in place. One of them has a bend with some extra metal to attach the wiring.

Gotcha, I am not doing complete doors. Its just going to be the frame, hinge & door. Nothing on the back and none of the coin/acceptance parts. You will need to pull the parts to complete the door off an original. I know theres plenty of beat up doors with goos parts out there.

I may make some of those parts down the road, but its starts to add up making the door unreasonably priced as a complete door. There are some parts I just can not make though.

**I can explore making those square parts if the demand is there, but those are not typically damaged.

Yeah, that's what I meant...not in conjunction with the doors since they are nearly done.
Sometimes that part is missing or rusty. It would be great if you could do any part that you can on these doors.

PLEASE move the for sale thread out of the restricted section, I may be interested in getting one or two...

You have enough posts, It will let you in when you have been a member 30 days. In the meantime just PM Takeman. Its setup that way to cut down on dealers joining to just sell.

I'm interested in one. I only have one cabinet, Tapper and the coin door is in need of stripping painting ect. This would save me so much time and effort and probably look better.
