Interest Check: PSone LCD screens for Test Bench / Projects

I have a guy with quite a few PSone LCD screens available. These are good for test bench monitors with some small modification. I'm just checking to see if I should get a bunch (to make available on KLOV) or just a couple for myself. This is just an interest check. I do not have prices or exact quantities yet. Normally, a PSone LCD screen goes for around $50 (some can be had for less, some for more). These monitors will have permanent marker writing on the backs so they are good for projects more than gaming/collecting. That is why I thought people here may want some. All of the monitors function properly and will come with the AC Adapter. If you are interested, let me know here in this thread (no PMs please) and the quantity you would be interested in. Thanks!

I would agree they make great test rig monitors! I just wish some one like dokert would make an easy adapter / harness.. those pins are so tiny to solder.

Hum I have a GameCube equivalent one of these just lying around. I never thought about using it for this purpose. ^^

This would depend on price; for $50 you can get a low resolution TV or monitor for the same purpose, so a rock bottom price would be ideal.

From everything I've read, the picture below shows the modifications necessary to hook it up to your JAMMA harness...

If this is wrong, feel free to make me look dumb as I have never personally done this before.

Ya, $50 seems a little high. I use a pc monitor I got for free, and vga converters are cheap.

I don't know what the price would look like on these yet. The $50 was just stating what a PSone LCD screen tends to sell for.

AS the guy who collects game stuff in general I might be in for an unmodified one...just for my console collection...
