Interest Check: Omega Race PCB Reproduction

This is a look at interest in Omega Race PCB reproduction. I'm itching for a project and I know there is/was demand for this.

If interested, would you guys like a completely redesigned board or a duplicate of the original, just with the battery relocated?

NOTE: Even if there is a bunch of interest, it doesn't mean that I will indeed make these, I am just seeing if it is worth my effort to pursue it at all.

I made this same post late last year... We got a start on it (FPGA based), then life got in the way... Might still plat around with it, but its not like I need something else on my list-o-stuff-I-should-be-doing

I have a couple boards that can be donated. I also vote for a modified design that just drops in with the original daughter board and connectors.

I do have schematics, and I'm still in the air on starting from scratch or not..... I do want a donor board just because it is easier to look at a physical board when I want to figure something out. Schematics alone can be a little bit of a challenge to deal with.

That project never came to fruition, and this is a new effort.
