Interest Check: Neo Geo Plexi CPOs

What attracted me to my V3 was the damn near minty CPO. Monitor in trouble, joystick shot, buttons need cleaning, no sound. She's in sorry shape, but look at that CPO!

I'm not down personally, but you'd be doing the community a great service.

I've tried to register to post on that site twice with no luck.

At this point I'm going to move forward, probably go with the 0.060" thickness and see how it turns out unless somebody can give me a good reason to go thicker.

Bump for a status. I would load up on a couple of these...

Literally any day now, they should be shipped by this week to me, if they are not in transit already.

I have some questions on these. I looked at the pick in this thread and mine has square holes around the out side. Do these have them? Also what do you put in there? Are those there to hold down the cpo?

Standard black anodized carriage bolts to hold the CPO down. I often put down some double stick tape on the edges and around the Joystick holes cause the originals will buckle over time and heat.

Some definite interest here as well, now that I have a 4-slot that needs a new CPO. If they can look anywhere near as good as the one linked on the Neo forums, then this is a must buy for just about every Neo fan.

There was mention about different layouts, and that's a good point. I know of at least two different ones:

Notice that the four buttons are slightly lower on one of those vs the other. I have no idea if there was some consistency with which cabs got which CP layout or if maybe it was a thing where like "each cabinet made after year X had Y layout." I really have no clue, though this thread seems to indicate that the first one above is the "newer" layout and the bottom one is the "original" layout. Either way, these seem to be the two most common official layouts from what I've seen.

My 4-slot looks be cut for both as it has two sets of button holes. The original holes appear to be the higher layout, but when a repro CPO was added later, it used the lower button layout, so new holes were cut to account for that. I can't be sure yet if those new holes will line up perfectly with an official CPO using the same layout, but I do have one, so I will check to verify. Either way, I could probably give you measurements for both sets of holes since I have two different CPs, each one using a different layout.

My version (at least this run) will have the B,C,D buttons lined up together and we a printing both the 1-slot and multi-slot panel (for 2/4 slot machines). Depending on how they sell I'd certainly be open to printing the other version as well, but want to get these finished up first.

All of the other holes will be laser cut, including the square carriage bolt holes.

Anthony, how do the logos look compared to the original? Most of the vector logos I've seen around the web aren't very truthful to the originals in terms of spacing and whatnot (examples here). Sure, it's picky, but I'm curious :)
