Interest check, Jr. Pac-Man CPOS, please read before commenting!

I was just checking on how much interest there would be for a small run of Jr. Pac-Man CPOs before I make a vector.

Please specify if you are interested and if you want the Pac/Ms. Pac conversion type, Super Pac conversion, or dedicated. No guarentees on these being made or who makes them, just gauging interest.

All due respect how are you going to afford to fund a silkscreen project when you don't even have enough to buy the games and parts you post that you want when you flaked out on people.......

Do you actually know how much this stuff costs to get done...? I applaud the effort when its legit but do the research and don't make random posts with claims you can't live up to....

Its not cheap if your planning on doing it right and if your just doing cheap restorations your not going to sell many.

Wouldn't you want to have a machine to put the overlay on before you try to make one?

Do you even have scans of all three versions of Jr. Pac CPO's? I would bet money that you don't. If you don't, it would make this thread even more awesome. Plus, you already started a thread asking for interest in Jr. Pac CPO's, remember? Why are you asking again?

You've got a lot of vaporware projects going at this point. Between your small-scale non-existent Ms. Pac build, the full-sized imaginary Ms. Pac resto and all of this upcoming vectoring, your keyboard must be exhausted...

Jr. Pac.

I would strongly suggest you stop trying to produce reproduction artwork. You don't have the finances available to cover the production cost (hint, it would probably be a 4 digit number). You don't have access to the real artwork. There is no legal way I am aware of that you can even accept a credit card payment. You don't even have the ability to drive to the post office to send the completed overlays out. So making them yourself is out of the question.

I am sure you are are quite skilled with your (likely pirated) Adobe CS3 (or whatever you are using), but the guys already doing the real repro work are as well, so they don't really need your help there.

Also, I seem to recall that the Jr. Pac-Man overlays were vectorized back when you were literally in kindergarten, but they have never been produced because the demand just isn't there. Like Darrin said before, he hasn't had many requests for them.

Not trying to be mean, but this is the sort of thing that can go wrong very easy, at which point you could end up with a lot of angry people after your parents trying to get their money back.

1. I was just gauging interest. I was planning on just vectoring it and sending it off to someone to reproduce, not my job.

2. I made this thread because the last one had so much negativity. All I really want is genuine responses to see if it's worth the vector.

3. I do have access to a piece of NOS artwork.

Some of you guys just make me feel like I just should quit this hobby... and all those poor games...

Can you really be in the hobby without a game?

I dont think you can quit something you dont have.

I'm not defending the kid's posting history by any means but my gosh, you seem to have nothing better to do than follow around a kid and harass him. I bet you feel like a big man.

The proper way to do this for a noob is to first talk with a printer and work out the details with them and you can come back here with pricing estimates and say who you will be working with and see what kind of interest you have.

This project does not interest me but I wish you good luck.

His post are not hard to find. 1000 posts in 90 days. I dont have to look for them, they are always there.

And yes i feel like a big man, any other concerns?

Just because of his age he gets to spam, shit on other peoples threads, and be rude? I don't think so.

Were are the parents at is the question you need to be asking.

Never said it does, but it seems like every time I see a jr post, there is Adam with some sort of utterly useless derogatory comment. It's bad enough when he does it to adults but IMO if you have a problem with the way he's posting, take it up with the mods and/or mclemore. Just because it's easy to find a jr post doesn't mean there's a need to respond. I just don't understand what benefit there is in beating up on a kid, but I guess it's not really out of character when I think about other posts I've seen Adam make. And believe me, if he were my kid he would not be posting here so I do wonder where his parents are.
