Interest Check: CPS2 Communication pcbs for Tournament Battle

It would be cool just to see how close they were to implementing it and maybe, someday, seeing it run. I don't think it would take the ST world by storm now that we have GGPO/Supercade and double elimination brackets are the norm, but it's still a great concept.

Exactly, it probably wouldn't help with serious tournament play.

It would probably only be used by serious ST heads and/or novelty freaks. And even then, only by those who have space for 4 cabinets or setups, and who can also afford to spend the money on 4 ST boards, new equipment., etc.

But it would be cool as shit for some "old school" ST get togethers, that's for sure!
So of course my vote is a resounding "YES".... somebody please do it!

Small update on this project. I've decided to make some reproductions at cost. Notice that you need at least 4 CPS2 linked together to make it work. I foresee a price of 50 USD per unit.
