Interest check: Black Widow, Gravitar, Major Havoc conv. or Atari vector blank panels

Takeman has authorized me to start this thread to see if there is enough interest to do a run of repro Black Widow control panels. We'd also need Black Widow CPOs since they seem out of stock.

He's also said he would re-run more of the blank panels that were made at the same time as the recent multi-vector panels.

While we're gauging interest, how about the Major Havoc conversion panel? Roller control or spinner or cut-you-own hole?
Might as well round it out with Gravitar.

Please also indicate if the specific panel does not reach critical mass, if you would buy a blank in its place to cut your own.

List (BW=Black Widow, MH=Major Havoc, G=Gravitar, b=blank)

I would take a havoc conversion panel, for a space duel conversion im doing. cut to fit roller and the CPO which is available..

wouldn't hurt to do gravitar panels. Space duel is common as nails, but Gravitar might have some interest.

I'd be in for a Major Havoc conversion panel pre-cut for the roller controller.

I have a Gravitar panel if you need it? I need a Black Widow and would sign up for that.

If the panels are they same dimensions/shape, I can run them together (generally). Basically the only difference can be the hole locations.

gravitar and black widow are the same panel, just different holes, so it would fit your criteria on these.

What's the likely price on these? I don't have a Black Widow yet, but will someday and may be interested in a BW CP.

I'd be interested in a Black Widow CP and CP overlay. A blank would also be OK if the BW doesn't get produced.

If a Gravitar overlay is produced I'd be up for one of those as well.

Thanks...

The first run of multi vector panels was $80 for the ones with holes, $70 for the blanks, plus $20 shipping in a purpose-built box. But that was a larger run, all with the same holes. This may be a bit more; it's up to Takeman of course.

Artwork (CPO) not included.

Pricing would be similar to the MV panels. Let's keep this going for a little longer. The more in the run, the better price I can get. Looks very promising thus far.

Steven from Arcade Shop has let me know he is re-running the Black Widow CPO repros, and they should be available in a few weeks.

Takeman has related that it's best if there are at least 5 orders of each type of panel, as there is a cost involved in changing the setup. My guess is this would not apply to the blanks.

We also need to round up an original of each panel type to loan to Takeman for use as a pattern, same as the way the multi vector panel was made. I have a Gravitar panel I will loan, but we still need a Black Widow. The Major Havoc conversion with roller never existed as the original Atari kit used a spinner. Still pondering what to do on that one.

Right now we are under the minimum for the Gravitar version, so please indicate if you'd accept a blank panel instead (I hereby offer to drill the holes and send them on). Also it looks like the MH will be with roller control cutout... if you don't want that you'd need to change to a blank and again, I'll drill for the spinner.

Bigger numbers would help... where are the rest of the folks who were late to the multi vector party who were looking for a blank panel?
