Hello all,
I am new to the Arcade community and I have a question.
I recently purchased a working Area 51 Site 4 cabinet but wanted to be able to play other games on it.
I read somewhere on this forum that the hard drives should be interchangable, so I ordered a, Area 51/Maximum overdrive and a Johnny Nero Action Hero hard drive.

Upon plugging them up and powering it on, the loading screen says "Bad home block" and "No boot source"
Does anyone have any advice, or was I mistaken that the Jamma board can be universal?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can't do that it doesn't work... you have to change the entire pcb board to play different hard drives. So for instance to play the johnny nero action hero game you need the johnny nero action hero PCB... and it may wire up differently too...

That's what I was thinking.
Well thank you for answering so promptly.

No problem man, I wish they wouldn't have told you that... Basically an Area 51 Site 4 pcb will ONLY play an Area 51 Site 4 game. You can swap the whole thing out though if you want, research it a little bit first though, or ask us on here.

Yeah, I knew I could replace the whole board and HDD, I was just hoping to be cheap.
