Installing side art. Trim or not to trim....

After installing side art, it it best to trim flush to the cabinet or leave about an inch extra and tuck the excess into the t-molding groove and install t-molding over it?

Any special attention needed for corners?

For some reason I can see corners being more difficult than straight edges.

I would tuck too, next time.
I tucked the sideart on my Centipede, still looks great after a couple of years.
Just take your time with the corners, make slits so you can tuck it without crumbling the vinyl.
On my Burgertime I trimmed it, but the vinyl side art shrunk a tiny bit within a month orso.
Exposing the wood a little.
