Hi, Does anyone know if you can install multi PCB boards for shooter games into one cabinet using a Jamma switching control or do shooter games require specific equipment other than just there own PCB board? Looking to do a single cabinet with multi shooter games in one

1) some shooter games (like Lethal Enforcers) have a separate connector for sound, while others (like Area 51: Site 4) use the JAMMA harness.

2) some shooters (like Big Buck Hunter) use a pump shotgun for reloading while others (like Area 51) use a pistol that you aim offscreen to reload.

3) but more importantly, all need the guns plugged directly into the game pcb, so you'd need a special multi-JAMMA that routes the guns to each board via extras connectors...

i did the same as dogp, with an extra jamma harness, diodes, a relay( to switch opto signal from the gun to each board) and a dual pole dual throw switch to direct +5 and +12 to the boardset i wanted powered on..

but like dogp, my boardsets are simular.

Not sure what headaches you will run into using dissimilar boardsets. Keep in mind also that not all boardsets sync at the same exact frequency or hav the same screen width, so while adjusting everything you may find one game needs to have a wider than normal picture to help the other game that has a narrower picture etc etc..

It would be dope if somebody cameout with a hack for the area 51 boardset to have lots of different shooter games... that would be sweet.
