Installing Iso Transfomer, Power Supply and Monitor Chassis (G07)

Hi guys
I picked up an empty cab from a fellow klover that was missing the power supply, isolation transformer and monitor chassis.

I did some research and this cab was originally an Asteroids cab and the iso transformer was mounted with the power supply when it was removed.

I purchased a switching power supply and an iso transformer and a rebuilt chassis, so now i need to put it all together. Unfortunately when this stuff was removed, none of the wires were labeled so i will have to trace each wire back to the harness for the PS, but just looking at everything there is atleast 1 connector i dont know what to do with. The G07 Chassis has a molex plug that i assumed was for power, but i dont see anywhere for this to plug into. Also, I see a ground wire coming out of the monitor and off the monitor mount that i dont know where to ground to.

Here are some pics: http://s798.photobucket.com/albums/yy265/sweetdave40/asteroids cabinet pics/

Sorry if they arent informative enough, if you need a better pic of anything, let me know and i can try and supply them. My main concern is that there arent any fuses in the cab, and i dont want to blow up anything hooking it up the wrong way.

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers,
-Dave

Asteroids uses a vector monitor, so the plugs and power hookups are totally different. And the wiring for the power on an Atari game will be completely different from everything, since it uses a linear supply with a separate regulator/amplifier board.. You're basically starting from scratch.

well, i dont think its the original monitor, its an electrohome g07 19",. and the previous owner had it converted to SFII CE, but i dont know how they had it wired since the power supply and iso transformer were removed before i got it. Are there other parts im going to need?

No other parts. You just need a switching power supply (to power the game board) and an isolation transformer (to power the monitor) and the monitor and game board itself.

You'll have to do all the wiring yourself - either figure out what's there right now, or install new wiring, since the game was converted there is no telling how it was hooked up, or what else was added or removed. There may very well be leftover connectors left over from the old wiring, etc. You'll have to trace it all out. Not hard, just tedious. Just sit down and get out the multimeter, and figure out what goes where.
