Installed a new Underlay for Millipede Cocktail Game

Installed a new Underlay for Millipede Cocktail Game, and of course now the corner glass hold downs don't fit, because the underlay is thicker than the original silkscreen. Can't really bend the brackets, because they would clamp the glass wrong and probably chip the glass.

What has somebody else done in this situation?

I guess I could take some of the wood material off the underneath (sand of file), what do you think?

Shaving back the wood sounds like a pain but it may be your only real option, I've never heard of large brackets being sold.

BTW, where did you find the underlay? I've only seen Centipedes available.

What's the underlay printed on? Must be on some really thick stock? I am scared to death to even take my glass off, as my graphics look nearly perfect, but I could easily see them peeling right off if I try to remove it from the simulated wood top.

I too wonder how thick the graphic is, on my DD c/t I used repro underlay graphics and I had now trouble whatsoever using the factory glass clips...

Ok, I got it all done. I did have to sand down some of the underside corners. I used a angle air sander I have. The under lay came from arcadeoverlays.com and turned out great. It's on a textured CPO style Polycarbonate, so it's kinda thick, but workable.
