Purchased a Spy Hunter.
Pretty good condition, all there, still have to see if board set / power supply works. Coin door is a mess. Splatter paint also.

The marquee, well that another story, faking, took out during transport.

When cleaning out the cabinet, found a piece of another cabinet.
I know Midway used other cabinets as blocking and I have seen full bottom of cabinets be other cabinets, so this doesn't surprise me.
Was wondering if anyone could tell want cabinet from?

Thanks

Wow, somebody really thought there was MONEY in there.

Talk about killing a coin door. Crikey!

Got another question for ya.
Plastic handles, Did Spy Hunter come with plastic handles? Standard?

Well answer is I think so, mine does. Super faded buttons, dirty handles.
I think positioned differently then the ones in the metal handles, bigger on top thru hole then held in with e-clip.

My understanding was the earliest run of machines had the cast metal grips that the legend George G sculpted the originals of specifically for Spy Hunter and later ones had silghtly different plastic grips like that he had also designed and used on Gorf, Tron, DOT, etc.

I don't believe the buttons are interchangeable.

All the spy hunters I've worked on had metal handles. I believe the plastic ones are aftermarket replacements.
