It sounds scammy.. "I get paid by banks, title companies, realtors, escrow companies, and attorneys to remove pinball and video arcade machines from residences/businesses throughout Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana" Really? No one does that. Banks don't pay people specifically to move just pinball and video arcade machines from people's homes. They just dump the contents of the home and it all goes to the dump.

"Only the 8 listed above will you be able to plug in. All of the other pins will be priced $500-$1000 maximum and are all sold 'as is'. All of the above mentioned games will be sold for $1,500". You buy his one game for $1500 then HAVE to buy 4 other unknown games, in unknown condition, for between $500-$1000 each.

I don't buy it!

$500-$100 for pinball machines you do not know what they will be and you cannot plug them in to see if they work. Is that not kind of a high price? you can buy working machines for the $500-$1000. I think you will end up paying $5500 for 5 machines and only one works, you could just go out and buy the machine you want for $5000 and not have to take his just that does not work. What about the fact that he will give you arcade machines if you buy the pins.

The market will bear what a machine is worth. There is no need to hide what is being sold or berating people willing to buy said machines. This will just turn people off or screw the guy hoping to get lucky.

And curse us evil, loathsome "resellers". Heaven forbid we cleverly sneak through his web of security and get away with some his holy machines. I wonder if one must kiss his ring before being admitted into his pitch black (newly expanded) warehouse where one will get to feel around for his random lots of 4 extra junkers they must take.

I hate to sound negative, but this guy's self-righteousness is sickening. I'll bet his poop doesn't stink, either. What a piece of work this guy is. I mean, what a control freak.

Man, an ounce of humility goes a long way.

Read this ad today also, the part that was weird to me was how he said he had vids like pac-man, Galaga etc.., and they "don't interest him" so he would throw in some vids for free. Really dude??

And today someone posted a response about the ad lol.

lots of pinball machines for sale - $1 (Dyer, IN)
Beware if you are replying to the ad that seems too good to be true. Remember kids... "If it seems too good to be true..." On that note, I also have a large collection of pinball machines that I will be selling below market value, because I too like to lose money... Too funny.... Send me your emails and I will reply on Thursday. Ok, not really. I just want everyone's email address who collects pinball machines in the Chicagoland area.

Actually a friend of mines husband has a large warehouse full of everything imagineable (except pinball/arcades, or they would be at my house), and has a hell of a wholesale business. I asked him where he gets all his inventory, and it comes from his other business. He cleans up property and businesses that have been foreclosed/bankruptcied/ect for the leinholders to prepare the property for resell. What does and doesnt go to the dump is at his descretion. Owners dont care as long as the property is ready to show
Course, I totally agree that the CL ad is a scam. The guys that get paid to remove shit they can resell dont advertise. They dont want any competition
