Input and switch settings (Seleco Italel Multimedia SMV-290 USA)

I've got this big monitor that came in a cab I bought recently, and it has a few different input types and switches on the back of it. I know a few of them, like the 9 pin RGB, FBAS, degause and the dials for brightness and contrast and such.

I'm wondering about the switches though. I need to test this thing out, and I'm probably going to use the FBAS, since it's just a composit video input. But I want to know what the switches should be set to.

What would the 75ohm switch affect? And the Sync? I'm assuming the AN and TTL are for the RGB, since it's got that little thing seeming to tie them together.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you find out any more details about this monitor? I've just picked one up and would love to find out more about it!

Only what I've found by researching myself. There isn't a lot of info out there on this monitor.

There is another thread discussing a sync issue I have with it.

Did you get your monitor around here? (A guy in Washington was selling a bunch on CL)

You can pick up a simple little converter for the FASB at radioshack, and that will allow you to test composit video on it to see if it works (mine pretty much doesen't)

Otherwise, from what I've just figured out by trial and error and what people have told me, you just need to plug in to one of the syncs on the input, ground, and all the colors (RGB) You can find a pinout online.

I found a manual for the SMV-300 and it defines the inputs on the DB9. The pinout is very different than what's on pinouts.ru. I have a DB9 -> SVideo cable that came with the monitor, but it didn't work on the computer we tested on before I bought it. I suspect he didn't have things hooked up right since I don't think SVideo will work straight away. It worked fine plugging a DVD plaer into the BNC input though.

If you don't have a copy of a manual, I could post the one I found.

Oh, I bought mine off CL. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy got his from the same place you did. Seems like a nice monitor so far, but I haven't done anything more than get it home.

Hi,

I'd very much like to get a copy of the SMV-300 manual, if you (or anyone else) still have it.

In particular I need the pinouts for the SMV-300, and for a Euvision 3xVision splitter which I bought, used, with no cables.

Thanks in advance, Alan.

I know I posted that I had the manual almost 10 years ago and failed to respond. I had to pack up and move homes right after posting this thread. Before I really got everything set up and figured out where things were, we had that laptop stolen and lost all my arcade documentation. The monitor was a backup/next project unit and I never considered that I lost the manual.

Anyway, the gist is that I lost the documentation I had and now am the one asking...

Does anyone have any documentation, manual, schematics for the Seleco SMV displays (SMV-280, SMV-290, SMV-300)?
