Injured from a pinball machine

I cut my hands up all the time working on them. You'll never see me without at least a couple of scabs on my hands.

As far as serious stuff goes, nope. I mildly pulled a muscle saving my TZ that started to get out of control as we took it down the stairs. That hurt for a few days.

Stood up straight too fast and banged my head on numerous playfield parts while working on the transformer of the Monte Carlo I no longer have. Put a nice cut in my scalp.

Messed my back up pretty bad moving 5 pinball machines out of a guys basement.

I ALMOST had a playfield come crahing down on my head! I was working on a machine, with the playfield in the full upright postition. I was tighting down some screws in upper section of the playfield, but since the playfield was up, these screws would be in the lower section underneath the playfield. I was tightening them and I noticed that the screw was moving away from me as I was tightening it up. Luckily I realized what was happening(I was pushing hard enough that I pivoted the playfield to fall back....on me) I caught just in time, but man that was close!!

I just gave myself a big blood blister last night while putting a leg back on one. Pinched my finger between the leg and the bolt. Other than that, just minor cuts/bruises while restoring a pin.

twice on old em machines

tried winding a stepper with game on shorted on coil fryed a image of the coil spring on my fingers.also had one once slip and spin and stick into my finger

My GnR playfield fell on my finger and smashed my fingernail. I seriously though I had lost the tip of my finger. This happened months ago, and my nail is still growing back.

About 10 years ago I wanted to sneak my new F-14 Tomcat into the basement before my wife came home so I took the machine down a flight of steps by myself then set it up by myself using my back as a pinball dolly. That night while sleeping something in my back snapped and I was in severe pain for days barely able to walk.

Just today i was diagnosed with "tennis elbow" My doc was sure it was because I play to much pinball with "bad alignment". Whoops.

Worst thing I ever did was rip the top of my hand open on the underside of a play field.
I was emptying the cash box and I think it must have got stuck, fiddled around and my hand brushed up against something.....well the spine took over and end result was bloody 10p pieces.
