True about the exposure bit.
Why do so many people feel everything needs to be sensationalized to be interesting?!
Or is it only authors who aren't creative enough to write interesting things otherwise?
 
It's not meant to be a news article. It's not reporting a 12 car pileup, or plane crash. It is an advertisement / spotlight on regional business presented as news. The focus is to get the reader excited to want to go check out the place and wares they have to offer.

It's marketing 101. No different than people here loving the games they have / grew up playing, and being passionate about them. The article is simply selling the sizzle. It's up to you the reader to visit to enjoy the steak.

It is also a UK publication and location. I find it refreshing to see restorations of any kind, for any reason taking place outside of upper part of North America.
 
I have to admit that up until about 5 years ago I thought that was all that was left of the coin op industry.
I'm stoked to have stumbled on to this hobby and grateful for everybody who's been doing anything to preserve stuff along the way.
