UPDATE! Oh and just a note. These games are being stored in Richmond Indiana (just on the Ohio/Indiana border on I-70) and so would need to be picked up there. I could ship but don't know how to do that or what needs to happen. Also, these prices are pretty much set. For example I've got like $400 in pacman and would like to get a little something for all the work I put into them!

(sigh) The day has finally arrived, and by day I mean the time has come for me to sell my collection. I am moving and will not have any place to store my games for an indefinite period. I wish I could just loan them out or something but I don't think that will happen. I have had a great two years working and learning about these classics thanks to the help of so many Klovr's, I can't thank you guys enough!

It's been difficult thinking about letting these especially since they all work 100%. So without furthering my sob story, here are the games:

A) PACMAN ($500)

Works great. Had a fellow Klovr completely restore the board to 100% working condition. Original and unscratched screen printed glass bezel and marquee. No screen burn. The sideart has a few scratches but isn't fading. For perfectionists, a touchup and swap of the T-molding for orange will make this game nearly mint... other than that this game is quite nice.

B) PAPERBOY ($550)PENDING

This is my grail game, hands down. I worked hand over foot to get this game to working condition, now it plays great. The cab isn't perfect but it is solid with no damage. the left side is missing side art and the coin doors need some keys. The marquee is flawless however. The only real issue is the monitor. Trying to find a medium res monitor took me 6 months, and I had to steal it from an APB. Because of that, there is some burn but nothing too terrible considering the rarity of the tube.

What makes this particular PB great are the controls. I completely stripped down the handlebars and refitted them so the steering would be flawless, and it is. I would be hard pressed to find a better playing PB just from the controls, which is what makes this game so hard to part with. Paperboy... you will be sorely missed.

C) OUTRUN ($400)

Like Paperboy and Pacman, I bought Outrun in an unworking state and fixed it to play perfectly. You may notice the steering wheel cap is not the typical yellow plastic piece that symbolizes this version. It was missing when I bought this game so I went ahead and had a piece made out of aluminum to match the plastic bezel, then I vinyled the horse onto it. It looks slick though you cannot tell from the pics.

There is nothing wrong with Outrun other than the marquee light does not light up. I replaced the bulb and it burnt out instantly and never got back around to messing with it. The monitor is incredible with no burn and vivid colors. The plastic bezel is very nice with no cracks as well. Overall the cab is nice with minimal scratching on the side art.

Hands down, you will not find a better driving Outrun than mine, and I don't say that lightly. Like Paperboy, I completely gutted the steering column and replaced all of the plastic gears with custom made aluminum pieces (including the dreadful B gear). I replaced the pot and even swapped the old springs for new ones. I actually had to re weld the bracketing back together as well to make sure the shaking was solid. This game plays better than the original now because I used superior parts rather than plastic. This was my first arcade buy and loved it!

D) WAYNE GRETZKY'S 3D HOCKEY ($350)

Oh Gretzky... How many uppercuts did I lay upon my friends with you?... Great memories with this game and apparently quite rare because it took me over a year to find one, and even longer to find the manual for it. The cab is not dedicated but it is in great shape. I was about to get sideart made for it actually but then thought about swapping in NBA jam from time to time so I held off... Now I obviously going to sell it.

Gretzky works and plays fantastically. The 3d camera button works, all the player controls are responsive, the monitor is beautiful as well. Nothing bad at all about this game other than it is not dedicated. Definitely my favorite game to play when it came to kicking my friends asses.

This is an excellent for sale post. Location and games list in title. Descriptions were easy to scan with nice size and selection of photos and price listed and easy to spot quickly.

Best of luck with your sale.
