A rebuilt G07 chassis later (thanks Chris!) and Indy is up and running!

I need to adjust the stick a bit as I can't get diagonals to the top left and bottom left... but other than that she's working great. The sound on this game is pretty damn kickass. Thus far I've managed to get to 3rd place on the factory-default scoreboard.

I'm not sure if we're going to go full restore or half-ass it with black sides. It's hard to justify spending 150% of what you paid for the game for pretty generic side art.

I had him replace everything and completely rebuild it with NOS parts. Ran me like $95 (you can do it for less) which included return shipping, but you can do it for less. I shipped mine out on wednesday, he got it on friday night, called me friday night, in the mail saturday, got it back monday. Unreal. Sooo worth it.

I sort of need a stick to start with I'd think. That said, I have a line on one possibly. But man, $100 for a stick... is it really THAT different feeling than a Wico?

Jeesus. I purchased a fully populated Indy CP that had the Atari Logo stick and a had a decent overlay for $85 shipped. Looks like someone's trying to capitalize on the needy.

feels different than a wico but IMO $100 is overpriced for this stick .I would say more $40-60 range. I would think $60 would be price with shipping. Now if it were a hall effects atari logo stick I would expect $100- $120 range.

Ram controls has reproduced all the parts. I got enough to rebuild 4 sticks for I think less than $30. Just have to install them myself.

Frizz - see if these ever sold

I ended up using some of the RAM controls parts for rebuilding the Atari logo sticks on my Gauntlet. You need the correct tools (some roll pin punches) to get the sticks apart, and some white lithium grease to dab in there, but rebuilding these yourself is a snap.

It shouldn't take much effort to track down a logo stick (leaf or micro) that doesn't have much wear. Then you wouldn't even have to do a rebuild. Tracking down four of them for a Gauntlet.... well, that's another story, but definitely doable. I paid $85 for four 8 way logo sticks in decent shape (only two needed rebuilds).

The black logo stick has a kick ass look and feel, definitely worth the 30 bucks you will be able to find one for (with a little patience).

Whoa! Think I paid about $100 shipped for a fully populated IJ CP (with Atari logo stick) in really nice shape.

I've found a MICRO version... are they the same (meaning can I convert it to a leaf style)? What came stock, leaf or micro variant?

Leaf style is stock from what I have seen. I don't think the micro can be converted to leaf - at least not easily.

Here is another thread that has a link to the IJ manual with pictures of the underside of the CP. Also, looked like dj_dns had a stick for sale back then.
