This is not saving high scores after a power off. 1992 Atari. What can be going wrong?

all Atari system 1 games automatically reset high scores when turned off or after 500 games if left on.

Really? I thought mine saved the top three scores (only). Sadly I don't have it anymore, so I can't verify it....

Ehhh? My Temple of Doom saves high scores..... Can't remember exactly, but I think its the top 3 or 4?

You must have a issue w/ yours then.

Well my biggest problem is that I have not got a top 3 or 4 score. I was getting top 5-6. Thanks.

The Indiana Jones machine I played every year at Funspot always had issues when it came to saving high scores.

The machine would sometimes put the 3 man high scores under the seven man scoreboard or totally erase one of the scoreboards, while keeping the other.

Either way whatever scores I achieve were always gone completely upon my subsequent visit, which was usually months later.

Outside of that, certain minor aspects of the audio would not work. (But I don't know if that was related to the score saving problem).
