Selling off my Indiana Jones Pachinko Machine. This is in MINT condition. I'm sorry for such dark pics but the playfield is a old map with indian ruins (Temple of Doom?) and light up skull at the bottom. Durring play, a cute Indiana Jones plastic figure in a minecart pops out. This is alot of fun and I hate to sell it but I need the $$$ for Rusty Quarters Retro Arcade & Museum. Comes in a stained cabinet with decorative talisman (from Raiders f the Lost Ark). Powerbox/plug and Speaker Transistors are all hooked up. Includes door key and Pachinko Balls. All thats missing is the pachino tray to catch the balls (will look around the house for one). Selling local only (plymouth or Minneapolis MN). No Shipping or drop off. Must be picked up. No trades, just cash! $500. Firm on the price. Will be placing ad on craigslist.

For anyone who doesn't have one of these machines they are a LOT of fun. I have a Popeye from the same era and the LCD is awesome with all the scenes that play.

If it were closer I would take a look, but my bet is that the problem is two fold. They are not that expensive to buy retail. For some odd reason there are several low end furniture shops that carry these for around 200 (godzilla, gundam wing, etc etc). The high end furniture place also seem to carry them, but I have never seen them sell and they are asking 500-800.

The wood case is neat, but for most people it would be tough to recover your money and it is more a novelty in an arcade.

Most Pachinkos with a small video screens go for around $200. This a larger screen Pachinko, with a major usa movie licensing (Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Spider-man, etc). These go for $300-$500 when they first came out and are almost impossible to find now, even in Japan.

Also this is the Gold Version of the game, which is more sought after than the regular version.

Morbidboy the market speaks for itself. Given enough time and promotion you would probably find a buyer at 500, faster for 400, and even faster at 300.

At the end of the day though despite people wanting it (but not getting it due to distance) you have not found a buyer at 300. That tells me the market is soft for this particular item.

As for pointing to retail places, I can show you dozens asking double and triple the price for fair market value pinball machines. It does not mean they will get it.

Agreed. While I hated my mom repeatedly saying this when I bought baseball cards as a kid, "they're just cardboard until someone buys them from you". All I have today is a pile of cardboard :)

In all seriousness, I'd have my buddy in Minneapolis pick this up for me in a heartbeat at $200 and bring it to me the next time he's down in KC. A fun novelty item that would go great with an Indy pin, but there's a guy in the local area sitting on about 50 of these things (titles/themes mixed) and given the constant CL posts, doesn't seem to be moving them at all.

If your not interested, is there a reason your shitting on his sales thread??
Repeatedly I might add?

The price is good, the audience may not be the best target.
These larger screen Pachinko Machines usually carry much higher ($300-$500 mark) prices than most of the small screen or older mechanical ones.... very similar to EM, SS, or DMD pinball. The add-on cabinet alone costs around $100 easily.
I have had 3, now only 1, they are pretty cool to have. These are actually pretty big machines, I know I was surprised when I first picked one up.

There is a good forum for pachinko you might list this on: Pachitalk.com
Local pick up sure limits the buyers though.

Good luck with your sale!! :D
