Last night I was playing some IJ when suddenly the game went dead. The marquee & coin lights stayed on but the game was dead. The heatsink on the powersupply was BURNING hot. I soon discovered the 25A fuse on the fuse block had blown.

Today I replaced the fuse and it fired right up. I've had this game for years and have never had a problem. The fan hasn't had power in a long time. It would seem I should hook the fan up. I'm going to replace the unit that's there. Any recommendations on QUIET fans that plug & play? Any ideas why this is suddenly a problem now, but never before? Thanks!

Bump

I KNOW with all the big brains around here someone has got to have a thought on this. :)

Here's a dumb question to go with the rest in my post:

Should fans blow into the machine or out of the machine?

Shane... Definitely have a fan for these Atari games because they do get hot from what you noticed... On my Indy, the fan on the bottom is blowing *in*. I know some people put 2 fans in there Atari machine, one blowing in and the top blowing out....

On a side note, my fan on Indy sounds like 747 taking off.
