I have an original Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Atari System one that someone converted to a Roadblasters. I have recently acquired the Indiana Jones Game Card, control panel and artwork but I have not yet purchased the joystick, Buttons or wiring for the control panel. Does any one have for sale an Atari system one Indiana jones Joystick, buttons or the wiring for the control panel? Can anyone tell me the kind of jostick and the length of the shaft? Would anyone take some good pictures for me of the wiring on the backof their control panel? I would appreciate any photos or help so I can purchase the neccesary items and wire my control panel correctly.

Thanks,

Steve

Here is a link to the pdf of the IJ Manual - link

Section 3-4 is a good place to start.

I took some pics of the wiring on my IJ CP a while back for another forum member. PM an email address and I will send them - guess I can send to the email addres in your signature. :)

That was me...

I wired up my CP with the help of the manual and your pictures.

As for the joystick/buttons. The buttons are standard orange, short leaf buttons and holders. The joystick is the standard Atari Joystick. Last I checked, DJ DNS had a couple for sale:

When wiring the joysticks, the common wire has to go to +5v, not GND. The button common wires go to GND.

If you wire the joystick common wire to GND it won't damage anything, it just won't work.

I have one extra joystick if you need one. I was going to hold on to it, but I would consider selling it if you still need one.
