Index of Freeplay, High Score Save, and Bugfix mods

Hi all,

I'll be adding Forgotten Worlds Free Play to my site in a few days.
- Currently only for the US version (matches mame's forgottnua)
- two versions: one with just free play only, and one also including fixed "Engrish"/misspellings

Hey Mark... unrelated, but your post reminded me....
I adapted your Tapper freeplay for an undocumented version of Tapper that's out there (dated 12-9-83). Would you like me to send you the patch file so you can include it in your zip?

Matt,

Yes, though I guess I'll need some additional info to guide people when to know to use that patch version. Has it been added/submitted to MAME yet, or is the ROM date stamp unique? Either way, you can send me that information off thread, just PM me. Thanks.

All I know is that the ROMs have a "12/9/83" date on them and they don't match any Tapper version in MAME (and MAME doesn't have complete date info for the versions they have). I just had to adjust a couple code offsets to get your freeplay to work. I'll send you the 4 code ROM images and the freeplay patch file.
 
The link to the Discs of Tron patch seems to have died - has anyone back this up by chance?

Also, I'm hearing bits about a free play patch for the original Hang-On existing, but I can't find anything concrete about it. If anyone has any information, we're sitting on a machine that could really benefit from it!
