In your collection, which pin do you feel is the most underrated?

Most definitely Baywatch in my collection. Most people write it off immediately (1. Sega, 2. Laughable Theme), but it has great rule depth, an excellent video mode, fun modes and many, many shots. If you ever get a chance to play one, do so. Most people I know who have given it some time really like it.

Baywatch is the guilty pleasure pin I always have an eye out for. ...hot chicks on the giant DMD, and I love that it sings the "I'll be there!" song while you play...hehe. :)

For me, it's Pinball Magic. Everything about this machine is high-quality, and it's so very fun to play. The longer I have it, the more I love it.

Due to the scarcity of the table, perhaps it isn't more talked about because most people haven't had a chance to play it. Whatever the case, it rarely shows up on anybody's favorites list, and that just seems wrong.

Also, Capcom flippers are frickin' epic. ;)

Pinball Magic is a great game, and it's not real common. But it sells for decent coin, around $1500-2000 it seems. It's also the only Capcom pin that people are really looking for. So I don't know if I'd say it's "underrated." It is a pretty good pin and most people who have played it like it. Some great toys, too. I've seen a lot of people looking for it, really.

Greg - the next time you come into town to visit your alma mater, make sure to stop by, I'll Be There ;)

Mine would be Demolition Man. Not too easy to get to Demolition jackpot, has good animation on the DMD, and it is a widebody superpin.

Mine would have to be Lethal Weapon 3. It's DMD is amazing. And the gameplay keeps it entertaining. Lots of ramps and chutes, the joe peshi ok ok ok is annoying but the new ROM fixes that. The backglass is awesome from the movie. It is really an underrated game in my book!

I think maybe Tommy or No Good Gofers.

Tommy, because most collectors go "ew, Data East"...but it's got a decent design w/ lots of shots, flow, modes, great music, and the blinders are a cool feature.

Really? I know someone with two of those machines. What do you think is a good price on it?

There was a Tommy for sale here in Alaska a few months ago but at $3000, it was way overpriced. Man, I wanted that pin. I love that bright yellow cabinet. Too many games have dark blue or black color schemes.

I agree that LW3 is underated and probably a blast to play with the new software. If I see one for sale around here I might buy it.

Tommy's a great pin, one of my fave's actually. For 3000 it would have to ABSOLUTELY perfect everything, clearcoated, and come with 500 bucks worth of quarters inside haha or maybe the topper could be made of actual gold!

^^^Agree on Genesis. The translite is definitely odd. Strange as it sounds, i kind of like it. Makes it unique i guess. The gameplay is fun and easy. And the lightshow is awesome.

When ever i have people over to play, they tend to start on the other machines first but it usually gets some play later on.

I actually love the theme. I can see where you might not want it sitting in your living room next to the hutch with Grandma's best china but I wouldn't have a pinball machine there anyway. It is what it is and it's freaking awesome.

For me its definitely World Cup Soccer 94. That game is just so dang fun!

My pick would be Swords of Fury.. Great system 11 pin, not many around either.. Lots of fun, mini playfield, ramps.. Some hate the music/audio, but I think it's great.. Poor man's MM.. :)
