We have been at the beach for a few days in Seaside Oregon, and thought I should probably take a few pictures of a few games we played. It is a decent arcade but like most these days the games are redemption and/or oversized newer games.

See the pics for the exceptions. Nice row of pinballs too. There was also a Ms. Pac cocktail at the pizza restaurant we went to last night but no picture of that so I guess it didn't really happen.

I wish I had more time to play the pins; there were a few I had never played before.

my wife has family connections with the Seaside/Cannon Beach area so we end up down there at least one a year and happened to be down there about 2 weeks ago. that arcade used to have a DK as well (i think as recently as last year.) the selection of pins is pretty good, and it's cool they've still got a Starblade way in the back next to the bumper cars, but i hate the fact that they've recently switched over to cards for their credits instead of quarters or tokens.

oh, and i think the Ms. Pac cocktail is a reunion machine and not an original.

not that it's arcade related, but almost any time we go down there we end up having lunch or dinner at Camp 18 on highway 26 heading back east towards Portland. pretty good food at decent prices and huge portions in a kitchy restaurant.

edited to add:

i just realized you may have meant a different pizza restaurant and not the one that's associated with the arcade.

We had lunch at Camp 18 on the way down there Monday; we really like the food and the logs that they made the building out of are incredible. I often wonder what people from outside this area think of the whole scene.

The pizza place we eat at in Seaside is called Pizza Harbor (right behind the carousel). I've been eating there since I was about six years old. I used to play the Kick Man they had there for hours; circa 1982.
