Came home today, after a hot, but enjoyable arcade pickup, only to open my mailbox and see a packaging FAIL. To give some back story, I ordered a crusin usa marquee off ebay as the one that came with my game was a terrible home printed repro that always bothered me. As soon as I saw the manilla envelope, I knew bad things were on the horizon.

I really hope this wasn't a member here as that would be an extra slap in the face.

damn that's horrible. How did they not think that was going to get fucked up? It probably got fucked up before it even left the post office.

You paid for flat rate shipping if you would have paid for expidited shipping i would have used a box,I think that will iron out.

J/K that does suck,it amazes me i keep seeing this happen here. I have never shipped a marquee rolled always between 2 peices of cardboard and fragile written all over it.

Well the good news is, after a message about the condition of the marquee, the seller apologized and refunded the full amount. I appreciate that, but what I really wanted was the marquee!!! Sigh...

This is what I think of the guy that did that...

Is it just me or does it look like it had to be broken in order to fit in the mailer?

stick it between a towel. Iron/steam it back flat.

Then from the back use some packing tape and tape the cracks back togther.

It might come out better than you would think. Its free now, what the heck, you dont have anything to lose to try a repair.

Off topic (and sorry for the derailment), but the title made me think of something I saw earlier today. Did a search for TRON on eBay and what pops up? Some sort of anal plug on eBay Adults Only.

Seriously, when did eBay start selling dildos and butt plugs?

Wait I was thinking a full size plexiglass arcade Marquee?
Or is it more like a translite that was rolled up?

Either way you probably paid over $11 for Flat rate shipping, he sticks it in a bubble envelope, and cost $2.00 to mail by First Class main.. I hate that!
