Hi guys!
So, i've manned up and decided to try and repair a dead Sanyo monitor that I have. I'm equipped with a couple parts boards, too.

Sooooo. The monitor was dead, with the 300ma fuse blown. I replaced the fuse, it blows it again. I recapped the board, it still blows the fuse. I checked the hot, and it was bad, so I replaced it and it still blows the fuse (but didn't blow the HOT). I tried another voltage regulator IC (601), and it blows the fuse.

Before it blows the fuse, I have just enough time to check the B+, and I only get like 1.5 volts.

I replaced the flyback, and everything came up fine........ then blew the fuse again.

This is all plugged into my playchoice, which has 1 other monitor in it running fine in either outlet.

Any ideas?

I tested them alright, but while I was waiting for a response, I put in yet another flyback, and hot. (the first flyback, and the replacement were off parts boards). Now she's working! I adjusted the B+, and I'm letting her burn. The colors are a little whack, but I think I've got a couple pots that aren't working right, so that's my next step.

Thanks as usual Dokert.. you're always willing to help anybody out, you're the man!
