I'm sitting on a Fluke goldmine!

I suppose it would depend on model and original price tag. I know fluke sells some products that are in the $10,000 range so the asking price could be reasonable depending on what it is.

I did a quick google, and the 9100A (entire system), calibrated (but not ISO traceable) was available on one site for $1690. So I'm thinking that just the probe isn't really going to be that much...

No way anyone is selling a 9100A for $1690! :)

(they have it for $1595, not the $1690 I saw elsewhere)

Quote: "The 9100A combines signature analysis, logic level detection, frequency and event counting, pulsing, vector stimulus, and emulative testing in one instrument."

I could see that costing a pretty good amount of money - it's very general instrument useful for lots of things.

Sorry. what I should have said is no one is *buying* one for that price. They go for $125-175 on ebay...
