Im sick of trying to get my Berzerk going, can you help??

I bought a new multi Frenzy/Berzerk board from someone on this forum and that still didnt solve my problem although i needed to replace the board anyways.(acid damage) I still cant get this thing working. I cant find new ribbon cables. Im having a hard time finding working boards and parts to replace the rest of it. My cabinet is all original and in awesome condition. Im starting to think of doing the unthinkable and putting a jamma harness in it. Do they make a jamma Berzerk?? What about a programmable jamma board, can i install Berzerk on one of those?? Thanks in advance.

You can make a JAMMA adapter and you can also adapt for use with a switcher or ATX power supply. Mark Spaeth said once that he can make a JAMMA adapter, "but it won't be cheap". See this thread.

I wouldnt jammatize it or go with the arcadeshop board if I were you.

What is it doing? Or not doing?

Worst case pack up the boards and send them out for repair.

You mentioned the inter-connect cables....do you not have them?....or what? Have you checked the power supply?

Buy some SCSI cables. That's what most people are using. Bob Roberts used to sell them. He might still. Talon2000 fixes Berzerk boards. He is tied up building a new shop right now and may not be able to take them right now.

Lance (Seinologist on here) fixed my boards plus he made me new cables. I don't know if he is still working on then but it wouldn't hurt to PM him. He did an excellent job and I highly recommend him.

He did mine too. A+ job.

I have a jammatized Berzerk pcb set courtesy of Mark Spaeth so it can be done. I think doing so is a pretty good option. I considered converting to Jamma for increased reliability, but my Berzerk is working fine so have kept it original for now.
