Did a muti pin trade this weekend where i picked up a TZ, AFM, and a spider-man....oh yeah a Junkyard. I always end up trading up for my current machines, because i do so much work to them to make them nice

My Attack from mars has a little wear in front of the stroke of luck hole. I have very nice machines, all in real nice condition. So i just bought a Clear-coated playfield to swap out with the old one, new plastic set, Bill ung led saucer mode, new launch button, new start button, new flipper buttons, new pop bumpers, flipper rebuild it.....plus a few other parts...

Is it just me me, or am i nuts????

I think your crazy! Crazy rich! I which I could be buying all of that I just can't afford it! If I ever ended up snagging all of that I wouldn't be close to buying all the extras.

Your not crazy. About 1/2 of my games have restored clear coated playfields in them. My problem is that I tend to work on everyone else stuff and I never have time to work on my own games.

Would you sell the Junkyard?
If so I may be out this weekend.
Thanks!

Where is the crazy part? :)

I've got CC'd playfields for games I don't even own. haha!

EDIT: Not even counting the Elvis playfield I won at Expo (Thanks again, hsapinball!!!!).

After looking back on pinball part orders, I am astounded how much I pour into my machines. I have a limited space and want them working great. I hope this works out for trading up as well.

Great lineup.

I still have around 30 NOS playfields in my inventory but that's down from about 70 from two years ago.

So Lindsey your the one who won my Elvis playfield at the Expo. That's cool.

I actually was planning on giving away two playfields but we ran out of time and the other contest would have taken too long. Maybe next year. The other "give-away" playfield was a new clear coated Funhouse playfield. The contest was based on questions about this playfield restoration that we did.

The contest involved the actual machine we had at the Expo and having the person who found all the restored areas would have won the FH playfield. My friends felt that the contest would have taken too much time and there was a chance that no one could have won it. I felt that since this was only a "stage 1" restoration it would have been easy but I knew where all the repairs were at so I knew what to look for.

Maybe next year I will come up with a better contest to give away a clear coated playfield.

I dropped alot of coins into a junkyard while out of town for a week,it is on my small list of pins i just have to own someday.Unfortunately when donny is done with a pin they are way out of my price range.Maybe i will come visit it someday lol.
Nice score donny.

No Comet playfields in my inventory. Most of my inventory is NOS Williams/Bally 1990's stuff, some newer Stern playfields and a few new IPB playfields. I have very few pre-1990's playfields.
