Actually, I'm just going slightly mad :56:

Picked this up in my backyard last night. The speech didn't work, but all the other sounds did. Per the FAQ, I robbed an 8035 from my Donkey Kong for the speech board and now the speech works perfectly!

There's a dumbass credit button installed in the control panel that I'm going to relocate, and it's missing the upper back door (I'm assuming because of the fire hazard G08 monitor). The monitor is beautiful with only minimal burn. Has a switcher installed that I may deconvert. Cabinet is in decent condition with the original locks and keys included.

It's my first non-Atari vector and I'm looking forward to learning its hardware, but in the meantime I'll be having a blast playing it.

Anyone have a Zektor conversion kit?

Great catch!

I can't wait to get the sega multigame in my cabinet switched out to the new vectorlabs one so I can finally hear the what the Alien actually says.

Congrats!

What else does your backyard have that you can pick up?

Must be some backyard! :)

nice pickup!!

I have spare tacscan parts(probably a whole kit) that I am going to eventually pass along.. Need to do the multi sega kit first...

I have a zektor control panel, but I think I will hang on to that for now.

Why would you want to remove the switching power supply? I am actually planning on adding them to my Sega vectors. When the original supply fails its known to do board damage.

Nice score btw.

Just to keep it original. If I came across an Atari vector with a switcher, I'd definitely deconvert that. But I did read that when the Sega vector power supply goes, it spikes the +5v, taking the logic boards with it, so I will keep it as is. I have much to learn about the G80 system.

Does anyone know where I can get a short black leaf button? I'm looking for the type with the e-clip.
