For the next 14 days...
I will send 5 boards free to anyone who has a new and novel idea.
Why? let's have some fun :)
What do you owe me? Just send movies or pictures of your finished product.
I am going to cap this at 20 people, but 100 boards are available for GOOD ideas(and yes I get to decide if they are good :) )

I believe i bought some of these off you on ebay. I pulled out an old button and hooked it up the led button expecting it to light up but it didnt. Do i have to tap into something and run power to the bulb?

Thank you for the purchase, the ones you bought are probably the convex buttons, this is concave. You do need to add power, it can usually be pulled from the coin door. Here are some rough illustations of he connections.

Pictures go up tonight, chips are $2 each. The RGB's are going to be 2, but will go up to 2.95 in the future. We had a little "oops". We discovered the positive leads were split into three connections instead of the ground, this means they won't work with the two main LED controllers unless you rotate the chip 180 degrees. However, they will work great as which ever color you would like, and you can use other methods to control them.... They will also work great in Red, green, blue, or white buttons as a regular light :) which is why they are $2

Hit me up if you have any questions or suggestions.

Does IL or HAPP make a Translucent competition button? Cause the game I would like to use those in (Capcom Vs SNK) I currently competition (convex) buttons. How well does that light illuminate a non translucent button?

I don't think so, the only covex that I know are like the other ones I sell(several differnt manufacturers and suppliers) I can try putting one of these below a white comp button and see what happens....

I have put 5v lightbulbs in red happ buttons before and they light up pretty well if I shove it way up inside, those leds seem brighter.

I've been trying to locate a DPST or even a DPDT micro switch that would fit on the end of an arcade button. If I can find one, I'll use it to simultaneously power on and off a computer and TV for a MAME cab. If not, I'll have to settle for a regular not so arcade looking switch. Know where I might be able to find one?

LED Light Kit in HAPP Competition Buttons

Thanks for sending me the LEDs! I just put one in to try it out, it works pretty good, although with the opaque buttons it not as bright. If you have the lighting down they are very noticable:

I am going to put the rest in too! I will be buying some more off you shortly!
