So this game was working about a year ago when it was removed from another cab. It sat on a shelf since. I hooked it up tonight and received some garbage on the screen at boot that doesn't go away. There is no sound just buzzing from the speaker if I adjust the pot.

Any ideas how I should begin to tackle this?

Thanks!

I'll post the pic from my computer in a sec.

I have the same board and they eat tons of power. Try upping the +5V a little.
Also check if your -5V is connected otherwise you won't get any sound.

I have one red led on the board lit. Is this normal?

If you have one led lit then it means your board is being underpowered. You should have 2 leds lit for normal. Check the +5V pins on jamma edge with your multimeter.

On the jamma edge of my Ikari board it reads 4.45V and I have 2 red leds lit.

holy shit that's low. there was a story about another Ikari board that supposedly required like 5.6V to run lol. what strange devices...

Great I'll check that. Thanks! On my switching ps do I just turn the "h" pot to adjust the power levels? I'm new to all this trouble shooting. Lol

Thanks!

Thanks guys! Just a voltage issue. It was 10.6v on the 12+ line and 4.3G on the 5+\- line. Upped it and Ikari and my double dragon work now!

Thanks!
