I just got a B&K 480 rejuvenator. I have no manual, but I have read the condensed instructions / setup chart PDF that's still on B&K's site.

In step 2 of the 470/480 test procedure, it says "Excessive H-K leakage cannot be repaired, use isolation transformer." Does this mean that using an iso will correct the issue, or does it mean that you should splice in a separate power supply for the heater?

In step 4 of the 470/480 test procedure, it reads "Adjust each G2 control until meter rises ONE DIVISION." What exactly is one division? Should I be aiming for the second tick on the far left of the meter or 0 or good/bad or what?

It means you need to splice in a seperate power supply for the heater, yes.

One division means 1 tic. So the very first line after 0... also known as a Gnat's Ass. LOL

Can you gentlemen explain this further. I have seen several rejuvenations done and none of them ever used a spliced second power supply. One guy told me that the 467 has an iso built into it, but I figured if that was the case, the manual would not say use one, and Lyons would not have said they need one either. Thanks in advance.
