Hi Everyone!

I am organizing an IFPA Pinball Tournament at Nickelrama Arcade in Garland, TX.

You can visit http://www.nickelrama.com for more details on the arcade.

The Tournament Machines will be Modern Sterns.

The date is September 3, 2012 which is Labor Day.

The tournament will earn you IFPA points and possibly some cash & prizes.

Tournament Activities will begin at 11 am or so.

I'm working out the details with Ray at Nickelrama.

Once the tournament is on the IFPA Calendar, I will post more details regarding the tournaments and activities.

One tournament I am definitely considering is the "Big Kahuna" Tournament. This one is a side tournament. So the IFPA points will be less, but the cash prizes more.

$25 entry. Double Elimination. Winner gets 60% of the prize pool. A minimum of eight people will create a winner prize pool of $120! All prize pool money will be distributed to contestants.

I will also have Kid's Tournaments and Partner Tournaments if there is enough interest and participants.

Hopefully this is enough notice for everyone to come and enjoy a local tournament!

I might be in... depends on how money situation is closer to that time. If it's okay I will probably choose to not work that day. :)

*edit* I think you should get them to sell me their Tron, dude. Because otherwise, I'm going to sell my STTNG and try to get one. =P

The way Tron prices are going, you may need to sell STTNG multiple times to afford one. lol

For a pro? BS. You know the market here, and this STTNG is nice enough on the playfield and with all the work I've done and the LEDs that I'm pretty sure I can get 4k outta it. I've got another 1k sitting in the bank in case something else came up.

Think I can probably find a Tron Pro for ~5k shipped NIB if I look hard enough.

I think $5K NIB Tron Pro Pinball Machines are a thing of the past. I think most, if not all, are in the hands of distributors.

If you find one in the hands of a collector, you might be able to buy it for $5K. Otherwise, I think you are going to be hard pressed to pry a NIB for $5K from a distributor.

Now, you could find a routed Tron Pro for $5K. But you would have to find someone selling one first.

Eh, we'll see. I'm not really against a HUO...just hoping for a NIB.

Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will do a trade for STTNG + cash.
