If you have an ArcadeShop Multigame board with working trackball.....

Please send me a PM. Several folks have sent me messages that they can't get theirs to work either.

I spoke with Steven from ArcadeShop today, and he says it should work, but I only get erratic movement when I hook the trackball up to the player-2 joystick inputs. I know of at least 2 other people who are experiencing the same problem.

I am willing to pay (or send a variety of parts/boards/goodies) to anyone who can help me get this to work.

I gave a buddy a hand that put one in a generic cab and we couldn't get his to work either.

ive installed that board with trackball support. No problem.
actually havent had any issues with it.

Was it with a joy and trackball? Is the trackball the red or green optic pcb's? Were there certain settings you had to change in the menu?

Thanks for any help!

You have to have the newer style trackball.
make sure you go into the trackball settings and test.

Make sure you have the +5v and GND on there too :)

Thanks Jon, I got it working.

In the Setup menu, you have to hit P2 to get the the part where you can set player-2 to use a trackball. Once you do that and exit, it works.

It is hard to find that option in the setup menu, but it is there at the bottom, I think it says something like Press P2 for control setup.

Thanks!

Yeah.. I figured that would have been the first thing Arcadeshop said. (maybe not).

good to hear you figured it out.
